Chinese-Built Yachts, Hybrid Power Catamarans, Marine Technologies and International Partnerships

Moonocean Asia Group, specialising in Chinese yacht manufacturing, international yacht exports and custom yacht projects, participated in the 4th China Marine Equipment Expo (CMEE), held from 16–19 October 2026 in Fuzhou, China.

The exhibition brought together a diverse selection of yachts, marine technologies and international industry expertise, featuring the EASTAR yacht range, Moonocean's own 50ft Hybrid Power Cat design, Chinese outboard engine brand Painier, international yacht design studio Amadei Collett and Italian marine fabric specialist Poliplast Dangelo.

Through its participation, Moonocean demonstrated its commitment to bringing Chinese-built yachts to international markets while combining China's yacht manufacturing capabilities with global design expertise, advanced marine technologies and premium materials.

EASTAR Yachts: Chinese-Built for the Global Market

The EASTAR yacht collection formed a central part of Moonocean's exhibition, featuring the TYC560 and TYC680 power catamarans, alongside the TY600, TY800 and TY116 motor yachts.

Built in China for domestic and international markets, the EASTAR range offers a variety of sizes, layouts and cruising capabilities, with extensive possibilities for customisation, from interior arrangements and styling to onboard equipment and technical specifications.

Whether for family cruising, private holidays, entertaining guests or extended voyages, Moonocean works closely with EASTAR to offer clients worldwide Chinese-built yachts tailored to their individual preferences and cruising requirements.

As part of its international yacht export business, Moonocean provides professional support throughout the process, from yacht selection and customisation to international delivery and after-sales service.

Moonocean 50ft Hybrid Power Cat: Our Own Design

Moonocean also presented its own 50ft Hybrid Power Cat, an original yacht design developed in collaboration with international design and technical partners.

With the design now approaching completion, the project marks an important step in the development of Moonocean's own yacht range, combining contemporary styling, spacious catamaran living and hybrid propulsion technology.

Designed with comfort, versatility and practical onboard living in mind, the 50ft power catamaran reflects Moonocean's vision of combining international design expertise with Chinese yacht manufacturing to create distinctive yachts for the global market.

The exhibition provided an opportunity to introduce the design to visitors, discuss its features and explore potential interest from yacht owners and international industry partners.

Marine Propulsion and Energy Solutions

Marine propulsion and energy technologies were also an important part of the showcase.

Exhibiting alongside Moonocean was Painier, a Chinese outboard engine brand, presenting its marine propulsion products.

The exhibition also featured a selection of marine energy and propulsion technologies, including battery systems, electric propulsion, diesel and petrol engines, and methanol-based solutions.

Through discussions with visitors and industry professionals, Moonocean explored how different propulsion and energy technologies could meet various vessel requirements, taking into account performance, efficiency, cruising range and maintenance needs.

Amadei Collett: International Yacht Design Expertise

Moonocean was delighted to welcome Diego Amadei and Andrew Collett, co-founders of Amadei Collett, to the exhibition.

Combining Italian design sensibility with extensive experience gained at leading British yacht design studios, the two designers bring a wealth of expertise in luxury yacht exterior and interior design.

Diego Amadei has 18 years of industry experience and previously served as Head of Interior at Mark Berryman Design. His portfolio includes interior design and delivery work on renowned superyachts such as Leviathan, JAS and Life Saga, as well as design development contributions to Flying Fox and Dreamboat.

Andrew Collett brings more than 20 years of superyacht design experience and previously held the position of Team Principal at RWD. His experience includes projects such as Obsidian and JASSJ, along with contributions to Benetti's acclaimed Oasis and B.Now yacht ranges.

These projects represent their professional experience and contributions through previous studios and collaborations.

Today, Amadei Collett offers a comprehensive range of design services, including yacht exterior and interior design, project management, furniture and furnishings specification, and bespoke furniture development.

Their presence at the Moonocean stand provided visitors with an opportunity to meet the designers in person, exchange ideas and explore the possibilities of creating truly personalised yachts.

The collaboration also reflects the importance of international industry relationships, including the established professional connections between Amadei Collett and Poliplast Dangelo, in bringing global design expertise and premium materials closer to China's yacht manufacturing industry.

Poliplast Dangelo: Premium Italian Marine Fabrics

Poliplast Dangelo, an Italian family business established in 1960 and an official partner of Moonocean, specialises in performance fabrics, marine upholstery materials and technical textiles for yachts and superyachts. The company was represented by Antonio D'Angelo, Partner and Export Sales Director, who personally introduced its expertise and product collections to visitors.

The showcase featured MATERIA LAB., Poliplast Dangelo's performance fabrics brand, distributed by Poliplast Dangelo. Its extensive collections include coated fabrics, faux leathers, decorative fabrics and technical textiles for interior and outdoor applications, combining Italian design, versatility and technical performance.

Depending on the selected product, available features include water resistance, UV protection, flame retardancy and easy maintenance. With a wide selection of textures, colours and finishes, these materials are suitable for both new yacht construction and interior refurbishment or refit projects, offering practical solutions without compromising aesthetics or comfort.

Through its partnership with Moonocean, Poliplast Dangelo also provides expertise in material selection and technical support for yacht interiors and exteriors, helping connect premium Italian materials with China's yacht manufacturing industry and international clients.

Connecting Chinese Yacht Manufacturing with Global Markets

Moonocean's participation in the 2026 China Marine Equipment Expo reflected its commitment to promoting Chinese-built yachts internationally and strengthening cooperation between China's yacht manufacturing industry and global marine businesses.
